To improve my overall performance for next year, I believe that I need to be more organized and pay attention to details in my work to create a revised final outcome rather than rushing. I found that I lacked precision while creating the pencil sketch portrait however since then I have been working on my skills. I have since then created a few portraits using different methods to what we learned in class.
During each unit I have gained skills that I did not prior have. For example the grid technique was something that I did not use before, and it allowed me to create a portrait in a way unusual to me. Rather than completing a portrait Ll at once, I was given the opportunity to look at each individual square and pay attention to very small detail so. However, I don't believe that I worked hard enough as the hair was rushed . The grid technique did not work in particular for me so I experimented with other methods.
